Warranty policy

Lifetime warranty
K-Tool International hand tools are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for the life of the tool. Improper use of a tool will void its warranty. Exceptions to this warranty are as follows:

KTI Pullers - USA ..........................................Limited lifetime on parts. We will not warrant entire tool, credit issued for defective part.

KTI Equipment .................................................................................................Orange Series equipment carries a full 90 day warranty. Blue "Pro" Series equipment carries a one (1) year warranty. Return within warranty period for repair or replacement unit at the option of the service center. Brand new defectives must be returned in original box. Customer must pay freight to K-Tool International; KTI will return unit freight prepaid.

KTI Hydraulics - Floor Jacks ...............................................................................Orange Series Equipment carries a 90 Day Warranty. Blue "Pro" Series equipment carries a one (1) year warranty. Return within warranty period for repair or replacement unit at the option of the service center. Jacks (orange) have a partial one (1) year warranty. If unit fails between 91days and one (1) year, unit will be replaced with a reconditioned unit or customer may exchange for a new unit at 50% of the purchase price. Brand new defectives must be returned in original box. Customer must pay freight to K-Tool International; KTI will return unit freight prepaid.

KTI Hydraulics - Bottle Jacks ..................................................................Orange Series equipment carries a limited 90 day warranty. Blue "Pro" Series equipment carries a limited one (1) year warranty. Return units up to 12 tons within warranty period for repair or replacement unit at the option of the service center. 20 ton unit is a repairable item, send in for repair.

All returns on noted exceptions must be accompanied by a sales receipt.

*Repairs required as a result of abuse, misuse, damage or repair attempts made by others are not covered by this warranty.
Notice: Warranty repair will not be performed on a spray gun that has not been cleaned. Item must be cleaned before it is sent for repair, or spray gun will be returned collect, with no repairs performed.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, attempt to repair or make any adjustments on your tool, as this will VOID your warranty.

Air tool warranty policy
One (1) year limited warranty

*30 day over-the-counter replacement

Requirements for all warranty repairs:
• Proof of purchase - Sales receipt must accompany all repairs.
• Warranty card must be on file within 30 days from date of purchase.

K-Tool International air tools are warranted against defects in workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase*. We will repair or replace, at our option, any defective part or unit which proves to be defective in material or workmanship within the warranty period.

Should an air tool fail within the first 30 days after purchase date, it may be returned to the place of purchase for a free replacement*. The foregoing obligation is K-Tool International’s sole liability under this or any implied warranty, and under no circumstances, shall it be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty applies to the basic tool. It does not apply to normal wear and tear on attached accessories/consumable products, such as drill chucks, backing pads for sanders, punch and die for nibblers, air hammer retainers, spray gun cups or “kit” accessories, etc.

Suggested instructions for maximum air tool efficiency:
• Your tool should be oiled daily when in use with a non-detergent type oil. Manufacturer recommends 4 - 5 drops of type “A” transmission oil or air tool oil be applied through the rear inlet. If possible, a fog type oiler is recommended.
• Check your compressor daily for excess water. Moisture greatly affects the efficiency of tool operation and may void warranty.
• Use recommended air pressure (not to exceed 90 psi). For maximum performance, air compressor must be capable of maintaining approximately 90 psi.
• 3/8” air hose and fittings are recommended for optimum operation of tools.
• 1/2” air hose for 3/4” or 1” impact wrenches is required to maximize performance.
• An oil/water extractor is necessary for spray guns.

Notice: Warranty repair will not be performed on a spray gun that has not been cleaned. Item must be cleaned before it is sent for repair, or spray gun will be returned collect, with no repairs performed.
